- Food and Drink That You Will Savor Long After You Leave
Atlanta’s food and beverage scene is amazing. You can find everything from high-end cuisine to little side shops that offer mouthwatering dishes. For instance, the locals can tell you where to find the best chicken and waffles. But, the food is not all Southern. With a wide variety of families from other countries, you should also expect to find some of the best ethnic dishes around.
- Transportation Access
Downtown Atlanta is fully walkable, but the MARTA transportation system can help you get around the city easily. Locals use the MARTA to commute to work or to get to entertainment venues. Additionally, Atlanta is home to Hartsfield International Airport. You can leave your car at home, hop on the MARTA, head to the airport and travel abroad easily.
- The Southern Charm
Finally, you will fall in love with its Southern charm. Yes, Atlanta is a big city, but you will still find people who practice Southern hospitality. It should come as no surprise if you are welcomed with a “Hey y’all!” and a giant glass of sweet tea.
